Ground /Hamburger Bison meat - 1 lb pack. Our premium ground meat is about 98% fat-free. No fat has been added to our 100% grass-fed meat. IMPORTANT: When grilling bison meat, it cooks 1/3 faster than regular beef. Fat is an insulator, therefore your lean, very low fat, bison meat grills a lot faster. For other dishes, such as meat loaf, chili, etc. cook as you would using ground beef. Here's a simple and delicious recipe for making juicy and tasty bison burgers::: 1 lb lean Tatanka Bison Ranch ground; 3 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce; 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground garlic; Black Pepper to taste (Tip: Do not add salt, as it draws the moisture from the meat. You can add salt to taste after you've cooked your burger.) Make your burgers, let chill in the fridge for 30 minutes before grilling. Brush lightly with a good olive oil to avoid the lean meat from sticking to your cooking or grilling surface. Grill for about 2/3 the time you would grill your beef burgers.
